Imagine it: You walk up to a group of people. After asking for one of the girls' numbers and being rejected, you pull out a balloon from your pocket and begin to inflate it. You remove a pencil from your pocket and pop the balloon, scaring the crap out of the girl (whom you are probably too good for anyway) and she begins to cry. Let's face it: there's nothing worse than a crying girl. You immediately start to massage the broken balloon pieces until they fuse together, allowing you to blow the balloon up once again. She gives you her number, but you don't call because she's been with all your friends. You instead make a fart noise with the balloon and put it back into your pocket - she doesn't deserve it.

Vol. 2 – ELEMENTS OF ATTACK
This volume concentrates on the attacking skills, including such things as a complete breakdown of Single Direct/Single Angulated Attack, Attack by Combination, Progressive Indirect Attack, Attack by Drawing, and Hand Immobilization Attack; the use of feints and false attack; the use of rhythm and broken rhythm in attack; as well as tactical elements, such as proper distance and timing, etc.

Vol. 3 – COUNTERATTACK & DEFENSE
This third volume of the series explains the vital elements utilized in counterattack, including such things as intercepting the opponent using the stop-hit or time-hit, the use of parry-and-counter, evade-and-counter, and jam-and-counter, as well as a detailed breakdown of various defensive skills used in JKD. Tactical elements such as proper timing and distance also are covered.

Rods & Subs is a cruise in held the first Friday of each month at Victory Lane Subs in Lancaster, SC. Rods & Subs was started in April of 2011 and is gaining momentum quickly.
