Shaolin wushu requires much hard work, and you should keep practicing in hot and cold weather. The saying is that skill comes from practice. If you want to good at the shaolin wushu, it is first you gain the solid basic skills.

Terry Dunn teaches six basic meditations of the Flying Phoenix Celestial Healing Qigong, a subset called Monk Serves Wine. Exercises one through three are simple but powerful preparatory meditations that instantly mobilize qi in the upper body and bring it into awareness. Each exercise begins with a short breath control sequence.

Exercises four through six consist of simple and elegant sequences of natural upper body movements done in the half lotus position.
